What We Do
Never before in the history of our planet have humans had as many friends and followers while simultaneously feeling so tragically alone. Now more than ever is the need for a safe space for authentic honesty, discussion, questioning, and growth. Every day Pastor Jason is committed to making this a reality for high school students. If you need someone to talk to please don’t hesitate to ask. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to connect and/or schedule an appointment.
Saturday Morning Gatherings
Every Saturday morning at 11 am high school students (private school, homeschool, public school) gather together at the Kettering Adventist Church Youth Center for breakfast, worship, Bible teaching, and discussion. During this time the church provides opportunities for small group discussion and study for all ages. 10 am is our contemporary service and 12 pm is our traditional service. All are invited! Come and find out what we’re all about.
"The Ask" Bible Study
Every Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:30 high school students gather together at the Kettering Adventist Church’s Youth Center for a mid-week Bible study. Dinner is always provided followed by an in-depth, practical study of God’s Word led out by Pastor Jason.
Friday Night Vespers
Each month on a Friday night, high school students gather for dinner, activities, and an engaging worship experience. These gatherings are intentionally designed for students to experience authentic community with each other and communion with God.
Every month high school students are invited to join us TO JUST HAVE FUN! Seriousness is not a fruit of the Spirit. But joy is! The following is a short list of things we’ve done: Parties, Full Throttle go cart racing, Lazer Tag, rock climbing, ice skating, bowling, slip-n-slide kick ball, dodgeball tournaments, Top Golf, etc.
Our WHY; Our WIN.
The reason, the “WHY,” behind everything we do is growth. Our “WIN” is when everyone connected grows personally, socially, and spiritually. The catalyst empowering this growth is the Holy Spirit moving our walk and relationship with our God, Savior, and friend Jesus Christ.
We create safe space where everyone is welcome.
We receive and respond to Christ's love in worship.
We seek transformation to our most Christ-like lives.
Church is not a place or a service. Church is not a checklist or a chore. Church is you. Church is me. Church is all of us, living kingdom values and answering Christ's call wherever we are.
Join us for a weekend spiritual retreat intentionally designed for high school students from around the Midwest (GA, TN, KS, IN, IL, MI, OH, and more) to start their school year focused on Jesus and their walk with Him.
